Example commercial installations

Installation of 80kW pond loop heat exchanger serving Convention
Center at Hunter Valley TAFE in Kurri Kurri, NSW, Australia.
We use a run-off pond from nurseries as a heat sink and heat source
for the airconditioning installation, achieving COP (Coefficient
of Performance) better than 4.
Commissioning of the geoexchange system for a wine storage facility
located in the Hunter Valley.
Energy efficiency was a high priority in the design of this facility.

GeoExchange system installed at a mushroom farm. This project,
generously supported by TXU Electricity, demonstrates benefits
of GeoExchange in a mushroom farm application.
The growing tunnel on the photo uses up to 50% less energy than
an identical tunnel (not seen on the photo) fitted with a conventional
(air source) reverse cycle heat pump.
Also, during the extreme weather conditions GeoExchange is able
to maintain the set temperature while the other system is not.
The tunnel with GeoExchange system is fitted with an integrated
RH (relative humidity), CO2 and temperature controls. CO2 sensor
controls the amount of fresh air, in order to maintain the required
CO2 concentration, thus minimising the energy consumption.
